Nephrologist Benahili Iboaya, DO, joined the staff at Wyandot Memorial Hospital’s Specialty Healthcare Center and has office hours each Tuesday morning.
Dr. Iboaya has extensive clinical training and work experience in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the kidney, including the management of systemic consequences of kidney dysfunction.
Dr. Iboaya received a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Kansas State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Washington University in St. Louis. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served both an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, and completed a fellowship in clinical nephrology and interventional nephrology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Iboaya has worked at Findlay Kidney and Hypertension Center since 2008 with an active clinical practice in the management of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients in ambulatory and inpatient settings. He also provides continuous renal replacement therapy and routine nephrology consultations.
The specialist is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Nephrology.
