Christopher Halasy, MD, MBA, has opened a family medicine practice at Wyandot Memorial Hospital to care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Halasy has extensive experience and most recently worked in a primary care clinic in Galion.
“I’ve heard many positive things concerning the work ethic and pride of Upper Sandusky and the surrounding communities,” he reported. “I was particularly drawn to Wyandot Memorial’s commitment to its tradition of remaining independent. Having decisions made locally enables the hospital to be more responsive to the unique needs of patients.”
Dr. Halasy received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He completed an internship in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Akron, and served a family medicine residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Prior to practicing medicine, Dr. Halasy worked as a capital investment analyst and internal auditor for the Exxon Corporation, and a financial analyst for General Electric. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Northwestern University, and a Master of Business Administration from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
The Lakewood, Ohio, native resides in Perrysburg and is married with two children.
